A Special Report from the Land of Washed Up
Well for all of us wishing that Fred Durst would be providing prison “nookie” our hopes were all dashed this week.

Fred Durst, lead singer of a band that nobody cares about anymore, was in court this week for sentencing for an October 2006 incident where he deliberately hit two people with his car.
Durst got let off pretty light, according to various media reports:
Rocker Fred Durst was handed a suspended 120-day jail sentence after pleading no contest to seven misdemeanors for deliberately hitting two people with his car.
The Limp Bizkit lead singer, 37, entered the pleas Aug. 16 and was ordered to perform 20 hours of community service and fined $1,500, according to Superior Court documents revealed Friday by CelebTV.com.
I hope his community service is to promote awareness to musicians not to make crappy rock/rap albums. His first stop should be at the homes of the band Linkin Park.

Omg. If that’s the penalty for DELIBERATELY hitting people with my car, then I’m going out for a drive RIGHT NOW!!
