Britney Spears’ lawyers urge her to go to court
Britney Spears’ lawyers are urging her to show up for court today, saying that it might be curtains for the popwreck in the short-term, in regard to her custody battle with K-Fed. If she doesn’t show up for court today, she may lose custody of her boys until around April.
To make matters worse, the Sheriff’s Department has also given up on helping her to and from her car. They have had enough of Britney and will not be around for the paparazzi confusion that’s likely to result from her appearance in court.
TMZ reports that if Britney’s lawyer drives her to court in the morning, the Sheriff’s Department would be willing to work with them to get her in and out of the building. So far, they’ve said that Britney has been totally uncooperative and won’t tell them when she’s scheduled to be at court.
The Sheriff’s Department just wants a little respect, Brit.
