Kiefer Sutherland sprung from jail
Kiefer Sutherland has been released from jail, after serving his 48 day sentence. According to a jail spokesman, the 24 actor left at 12:05 a.m. and looked like he was glad to be out.
He was released with all of his personal belongings and was wearing a shirt and jeans when he left.
Kiefer served his entire sentence for his second DUI conviction and for his violation of probation. He spent his birthday, Christmas, and New Years in jail, in an 8 by 10 foot cell.
He was only visited by his attorney and requested that no friends or family be put on his visitor’s list. I can’t say that I blame the guy, I wouldn’t want my children to remember seeing me in jail for Christmas. That’s one of those kinds of memories that stay with you.
Sources say that Kiefer never griped or complained and that he never asked for preferential treatment.
Way to go, Kiefer, for serving your time just like any of us would have had to.
