Prince Sues Everyone That Owns a Computer
Remember when Prince used to provide us with sexy songs and even sexier starlets? Well those days are over as Prince begins to sue every company that has anything to do with music on the internet.
This week Prince issued notice to ebay, youtube, and pirate bay to remove his content from their websites.
According to yahoo music Prince believes that he needs to protect himself and other artists.
“Prince strongly believes artists as the creators and owners of their music need to reclaim their art,” the statement added.
British company Web Sheriff has been hired to help coordinate the action.
“In the last couple of weeks we have directly removed approximately 2,000 Prince videos from YouTube,” said Web Sheriff managing director John Giacobbi.
My question is why does he care? Prince has been giving away his CD for free as of late, including free copies with a London Newspaper. If you are already giving your material away for free why do you care where people are getting it from?
