Scary Spice Puts the Smackdown on Eddie Murphy

Looks like Eddie Murphy might want to wait on making any more family films in the near future as Scary Spice aka Melanie Brown has brought forth a paternity action against the movie star. The suite was brought forth a week after Murphy got engaged to movie producer Tracy Edmonds.
Brown hired famed attorney and spotlight loving media whore Gloria Allred, who has already begun to attack Murphy in the media:
“When a star such as Murphy turns his back on his own baby, it sends an unacceptable message to other single fathers around the world,” Allred said. “I’m telling you, Mr. Murphy, it’s all over…We’ve seen you in the movies, and now we look forward to seeing you in court.
Murphy has acknowledged that he will “do the right thing” if it is found that the child is his. Allred states that Murphy did take a paternity test in June that shows he is the father, the purpose of bringing it to court is to make sure that paternity is established legally.

But I feel bad for the spice girl. She was actually my favorite of the bunch.
