Woody Allen sues clothing company for $10 million over billboard
Woody Allen is suing American Apparel for featuring him in their billboards without his consent.
A lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Manhattan on Monday says the actor and director does not endorse commercial products or services in the United States. The lawsuit says his noncommercial rule makes the May 2007 American Apparel billboards “especially egregious and damaging.”
I can’t say that I blame him, he is in his full rights to deny endorsement of any products, which he has chosen to do. Get ‘em Woody!
